SIGNATURE SERVE

The Classic Whisky Highball

Ingredients: 50ml of Singleton of Dufftown 12 Year Old Scotch; ginger ale; a lemon. Method: take a tall highball glass, fill it with ice, pour in the whisky, top it up with ginger ale and garnish it with a wedge of the lemon. For a more traditional whisky highball, swap the ginger ale for soda water.

A bit of history

The Singleton 12 Years Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky was originally produced at the Auchroisk (pronounced ‘Orth-rusk’) distillery and was called ‘The Singleton of Auchroisk’. It’s now distilled in the Dufftown distillery of Speyside, where fine Single Malts have been produced since 1896.

Interesting facts

The Singleton is matured in a high proportion of American ex-bourbon casks with a small portion of European oak casks to balance the liquid. A longer fermentation process and slower distillation ensure exceptional smoothness and depth of flavour.
